The ranked playlist in Halo Infinite is one of the most popular modes where players try to earn their own bragging rights. It is difficult to get competitive in high ranks and it is impossible to get a higher grade like Onyx, which isn’t easy to achieve. Some players are very good at reaching the top of the game, but they look at what they stand among the player base since 343 revealed the ranked distributions to all three ranked playlists in a blog post. The distributions for each playlist are here.

The rest of the two playlists look toward the higher ranks. The developers said they will continue to work on adjusting the CSR algorithm to shift the distribution to more a line with our objectives and your expectations. This process takes time because they want to make sure the changes don’t impact the players with high-end CSRs. Players also notice that large amounts of players ranked Diamond One, which is the highest rank they receive after placement. There’s even a small spike at Onyx, now that its slightly harder to progress after reaching Onyx 1.500. The new blog post also revealed some changes to the ranking playlist. Top qualified matchmaking rules place a big decision about close individual skill sets. The first step of this change was released on Dec 11 and the second is live yesterday. The rule has become popular for teams with lower capacity in order to make plays with low latency. It’s been reduced by five to 10 minutes to be better suited for very high quality players to search suitable matches.
