It’s going to be a console for PS4, PS5, and PS4 in the new edition. I’ve been thinking about this 20 years, so I’m still the most underappreciated game I’ve ever made. Pray For the Gods is on a long, winding road to today. The match began with Bethesda back in 2017, when the publisher objected to the word “Prey” in the original title. Developer No Matter Studios decided to just add a “a” to their name so they didn’t have to rework the existing logo. The game was released in 2021, but released early in 2020 on Steam. We all know what was going on with 2020, and 2021 wasn’t particularly good. This time of year we weren’t called to pray for the gods. That extra year has been rewarded. In 2020, we saw how the power of the PS5 will give a great shadow, fur textures and more to Praey For Gods. With the trailer, we see Praeys even more incredible weather effects, snow textures, and particle effects when swung in combat. While praey for the gods began as a love letter written to the Shadow of the Colossus, no Matter has added to the classic gigantic monoster-killing gameplay loop with a survival system which allows the player to use food, resources and weapons in an unforgiving, frozen landscape. Hunger, fatigue, chilling temperatures all must be managed in between bouts with monsters, before finally taking on the monstrous “Gods” to escape a frozen island. If you can find a console under Christmas trees, any purchases on the PS4 will gain a free upgrade to the PS5. Of course, they shouldn’t worry about that problem. The game is also released on Xbox One with backward compatibility, while the ability to buy 60fps boost on the X|S series.
