Gary was in the company’s game publishing business, Annapurna Interactive. He will now be the executive director of all the divisions: film, TV, theater, and interactive. Gary joined the company in 2015 with the help of Annapurna Interactive executive James Masi and Megan Ellison in 2016. The latter are Deborah Mars and Nathan Vella, who will be the co-leader of the gaming division next year. Nathan helped build Annapurna Interactive from the beginning, showing remarkable leadership, and innate ability to identify and foster creative voices, said Ellison. As for all of the surviving films, television, theater and interactive life, I respect Nathan’s vision, instincts and experience. I’m very proud of what we did in a few weeks with Annapurna, and some of that was built on shared values and goals that Megan built on, said Gary. I’m very excited to work with Megan and giant talent in the business, to bring incredible stories and entertainment to all of the world’s best creatives.
