In 2018 the company launched with Dungeons & Dragons boxed sets (and the sets remain their main product), Beadle & Grimm’s has also announced new partnerships with Paizo this year, which is the maker of D&D rival Pathfinder. Although their upcoming Paizo and Critical Role products are both boxed set adaptations of TTRPG books, this would be the first Iadle & Grimm’s product with a card game. The Magic: The Gathering, of course, belongs to Wizards of the West, with whom Beadle and Grimm have already a working relationship. The Sampling: The Sampling returns to the Kamigawa plane, with inspired by Japanese culture. While previous sets focused on the Kami War, a conflict between the kami and the mortals, the new set leaps forward and reestablishes Kamigawa under a cyberpunk lens. The new set is focused on the cyber ninja Kaito, a new planeswalker, but fans of the original sets can expect some connections between the two sets.
