Bloober is the creator of the film Layers of the Fire, The Medium and the Blair Witch. Rogue Games recently partnered with Netflix for its first app game slate. The two companies speak very well about their new project together. Piotr Babieno, CEO of Bloober said, we pride ourselves on making games that push the boundaries of originality and immersion. I really enjoyed working with another company, which shares our vision. Dr. Matt Casamassina, owner of Rogue Games, added that Weve admired Bloobers dark and splendid games over the last few years, so we knew they were the only team to do that cool concept justice. It is not today’s day, that is not unforgettable, original, kickass games take time and time. Unfortunately, it’s not a long time to announce complete details on this project in a future time. Since the fact that they’re working together, neither of them is disclosing details about the game in question. It seems that its one of the most ambitious of [Rogues] projects that has been undertaken for a long time. The comments above, particularly concerning how Bloobers dark and gorgeous previous games prove it can do the crazy cool concept justice, would seem to indicate that it might be a horror or at least a dark title. It is reported that Bloober is working on several games. The greatest rumors about that company are that they’re working together to develop a new Silent Hill game. It’ll likely not be the play behind Rogue’s partnership, though.
