Recently, the discovery of a unintended power of Cold Blood has caused a huge leap in use by the players. This will be short-lived, though, as developer Sledgehammer said they’re working on a fix for the bug. Cold Blooded is intended to hide the players from enemies scoretreaks, combat the High Alert perk and make the player’s nameplates more attractive. It’s the 1er-hand slot with other top-class perks. This has made Cold Blooded quite unpopular by fans, considering there are many better options within the slot, like Ghost and Ninja.

Sledgehammer confirms a Cold Blooded bug fix in Vanguard.

The confirmation is given by Vanguards Trello Board. This company tracks most important issues in the game. The bug with aim assist not to trigger Cold Blooded was added to the Global + MP issues category. It was also tagged as an investigative word. Aim assist toggles on and off when the player is using a Cold Blooded perk to confuse enemies. In addition, the player can be tammed at a player running Cold Blooded, so it could vanish soon. The developers didn’t explain why the bug happened, but they should expect a fix in the next week. Even though the holidays are coming up, it doesn’t seem clear when Sledgehammer will be able to pull out the next patch for Vanguard.
