Chocobo GP has various modes: Story mode and unlockable characters (20 in total) and tracks, Series race and series of tracks that compete the highest score; Time Attack against other player ghosts, Custom Races, and Chocobo GP mode where up to 64 players can compete in an online tournament. Interestingly, the tournament offers different rewards based on each season pass. Chocobo GP Lite has Story Mode Prologue to try with local and online multiplayer. Only a few characters are available, but one can take part in the online competition. Purchasing full game allows transferring saving data based on purchases, such as items and in-game currency.
