A new job from the Lucid Games has fuelled the rumor. The Liverpool-based developer is currently looking for a Senior Multiplayer Programmer to work on an exciting next-generation multiplayer game. Knowledge and experience of the Automated Machine networking framework was cited as desired. The Twisted Metal franchise is well known for its multiplayer component and its latest titles are rumored to be free-to-play, but it is possible to confirm that Lucid Games is working on the same thing. This could be an entirely new IP, so well should be waiting for an announcement. If everything goes well, it’s inevitable that Twisted Metal will go out sometime in 2023 for the new show, which coincides with the next TV show.
