Last month we discovered that Disney+ Day includes the streaming debut of Shang-Chi. Now you don’t have to pay full subscription to watch it on Friday. You can sign up to Disney+ from now on till Nov. 14, but only pay one hundred dollars for the first month. That usually costs $7.99 per month. If that weren’t enough to enter, Engadget reported that on Nov. 12, Disney+ will add an “IMAX Enhanced” aspect ratio to the following Marvel movies:

The Aeter and Aeder were an infinity experiment. Avengers: Infinity War. Avengers: Deadplay: The Battle of the Arms. Black Panther Black Widow Civil War: Captain America: Captain Marvel Doctor Strange Guardians of the Galaxy, 1 and 2 & 2! Iron Man Thor Ragnarok Shang-Chi and the legend of the Zech Rings are set, say you.

This enhancement uses the high 1:90 aspect ratio of IMAX. With the lower-rated screen pixel bars, screen and keyboard will be reduced from the black bars to the top and bottom, whichever is 6.5 x the bottom. The benefit of this change is that any scene taken in IMAX will be more detailed. IMAX Enhanced movies will support 4K, Dolby Vision, HDR10, Dolby Atmos and DTS sound. Of course, Disney hopes that anybody signing up for its $1.99 deal will continue their subscription past the first month. Hopefully, you won’t cancel before the first month ends, but instead will Disney charge $7.99 on an auto-renewing monthly subscription.
