There are plenty of details here, but users report lag, sound delays, a frame rate problem and more. In an interview with The Verge, the CEO of Nintendo of America, Doug Bowser responded to complaints: “The problem is that the two-way elevator has hit the ground.” We’re constantly looking for ways to improve our online features and those games and we’re continuing to build new products and services. We took the feedback very seriously and continued to search through ways to improve the overall performance. We love quality and great content. If the comment is based off a slightly uninspired PR statement, Nintendo may help it make a difference to the situation of customers. Bowser also talked about various topics in the interview, including Switch sales. Since the global chip shortage, the company has cut its sales forecast between April 2021 and March 2022 by 1.5 million units. Finally, Bowser talked about Joy-Con drift, a long-running issue for the Switch: We were in the second and second-half of the Nintendo Switch, which we watched, the gameplay, a user-generated response to the unit’s original look and as it was observed how it went on with the change in order to the Joy-Con. The analog stick was a main contributor to the improvement. This latest version, Nintendo Switch OLED, has the same updated analog stick now available in the original Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Lite.
