“This is one of the game you’re sending me a mail for. So, they’re scheduling the recording now, and I am not sure who will do that, I know I and Danny [Akroyd], I think. I’m not sure if Billy [Murray] will do anything for it. We will play another video game. Hudson said that he had received prototypes from the games to obtain his likeness approval. The actor said that the team struggled with his likeness, with an earlier attempt as a result of a close look at Eddie Murphy. This seems particularly frustrating given that the developers have apparently had much better success with the likeness of Harold Ramis, Bill Murray and Dan Akroyd. Hopefully the finished product will surpass Hudson’s expectations! That particular question was asked by Hudson, as the moderator noted the love that so many fans have for Ghostbusters: The Video Game. The first two films happened as a result of the disqualification that the first two actors used to create the first 2 films. The new version of the game was released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2019. It remains to be seen if the new game manages to achieve an identical level of success, or if it will appear on different platforms. It’s hoped that more information will come out soon!
