Sega and Sonic Team are now trying to adopt a new line of rules that haven’t been rolled up in the direction of an open-world game, such as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, or as they said in their press release, open-zone. Even though you’re interested in the idea, some Sonic fans want to compare the trailer to the unreal Sonic fan demo, nicknamed the Kite Demo, created by CryZENx in 2015. SONIC FRONTIERS LOOKS SIIIIIIIICK https://t.co/C0H6uLuTU2. Sam (@rigidPillow) December 10, 2021 The Kite Demo shows Sonic in his Super Smash Bros. Brawl forms run and jump through an open field filled with deer. In the trailer, Sonic Frontiers’s runs through a similar environment. Only wildlife has been present and its litter is covered with mysterious ancient stone landmarks. “This is what Sonic seems like in “Ureal Engine”Gente: SEGA, HIRE THIS MAN!!!Sega: Ok.Sonic Frontiers announces trailer https://t.co/w2FaHUVaqL. Topofarmer (@topofarmer) October 10, 2021 This type of fanwork would normally ask the Social Media community to give that kind of action to Sega. As far as the game makers and Sonic Team don’t seem to actually employ CryZENx to build Sonic Frontiers, although they pushed them to do so. The only fan in the Sonic Group that has been hired is Ian Flynn, head writer of IDW’s current Sonic the Hedgehog comic books, and former writer of Archie Comics Sonic series. They signed him on to write a story for Sonic Frontiers, leaving Ken Pontac and Warren Graff to quit.
