Many final fantasy players report that they are unable to log in to the game, because the game shows a message that the world is full. We realize the long wait time to get into the game was preventing players from playing, and for this, we’re apologized. With this, we have recently given 7 days of game time, but now we’ll be granting 14 days more. This is applicable to all players (including those who have multiple accounts) who own full versions of this game and have active subscriptions as of Tuesday, December 21 at 12:00. Fix the issue for Error 2002.
FFXIV players report that they are getting Error 2002 after hours of waiting to play. This is really frustrating, since players are pushed to the end of the queue because of the error. Click/tap to see a enlarged image. I got it when I got the 2002d in a wait of 2 hours. (Source) Even though I do have a bad time, it’s very uncomfortable for me to turn on. (Source) And apart from the error 2002, players also encountered some other mistakes, such as error 5003, 3001, 5005,9002, and 5006. Source Yup waited two hrs and was hit by error 5003, 100 people away from entering. Today I’m getting in a bit in my login. (Source) Just got a 90002 and then a 5003, before I finally got back in. My partner who stayed in the same room as me didn’t get the 90002. (Source) Unfortunately, the FFXIV developers have discovered the root cause of these technical issues, and said a new patch is expected to provide a fix.

The developers suspended the sales of Final Fantasy XIV Starter Edition and Complete Edition with new advertisements. The update of Patch 6.05 probably will be released quickly.
In fact, it looks like Patch 6.05 will fix several issues and be ready on time. Due to the high amount of congestion, we understand that there has been many discussions in the community about the release of Pandmonium: Asphodes (Savage) in Patch 6.05, scheduled for Tuesday, January 4, 2022. As long as there are no major issues, we plan to release the patch as scheduled. We understand there’s worry about World First races and first week progression, but patch 6.05 will add a number of new elements such as new Allagan tomestone, new recipes, as well as the new treasure hunt dungeon, the Excitatron 6000.
