Without FormaL, Sentinels would’ve just had to replace Royal2 just days before the largest offline hoops tournament in years. FormaL played Halo from April 2011 until December 2014 when he left to pursue Call of Duty. After ending the Call of Duty season by the end of 2021, FormaL announced that he’d retire. With that came new opportunities for Halo Infinite. Shortly after the HCS announced that Royal2 was suspended from playing, FormaL announced on Twitter he’d fill in for Sentinels. His role on the team is another temporary substitute for Raleigh. There was an opportunity to get it back. I appreciate that SSG players found that learning the game fun together and I wish them the best of luck. I will be playing with SEN for Raleigh, if it is a cold weekend. But I still am #OpTicForever. OpTic FormaL (@FormaL) December 13, 2021. On a serious note, this was a very good chance to pass up, said FormaL on Twitter. I appreciate the guys of SSG, it was fun to learn the game together, and I wish them luck. I’ll play at SEN for Raleigh, should be a spicy weekend.
Sentinels lose a percentage point.
Because Royal2 was found guilty of network manipulation, Sentinels lose most of their high-powered points. This is going to make them go to Raleigh in a difficult situation because of a shift in placement. The team, who matched to playing with a temporary substitute, could ruin their first LAN appearance. Sentinels have lost 3 660 points used for seeding that they gained mostly by placing first in HCS Kickoff Qualifier. They have also lost their finals qualification during the season, plus their first place in the pool section of Raleigh.
