The Out West emote featured a licensed music release from Travis Scott and Jackboys, along with the other merchandise that the Daily store produces for Fortnites. No one is coming to the store with a say. Epic Games acknowledges the removal by saying: “In the past, the daily section of the Item Shop is disabled.” This is deliberate, and the Daily section returns when the next item shop refreshes. It is known that the “Daily” section of the Item Shop was disabled. This is a plan and the “Daily” section returns with the next Item Shop refresh. pic.twitter.com/rc6Kqh7qoW / rc6kqh7qoW / rc6kqh7qoW / . Status at Fortnite (@FortniteStatus) Nov. 8-2021 2021 The tweet doesn’t explain why the store was removed, as it says to Eurogamer. The announcement came after a tragedy occurred at the Travis Scott music festival. Astroworld is held annually and is organized by Scott in Houston, Texas. The fourth night, when the opening concert began on Friday, died eight people, and over 300 injured. The fans could have been getting over the entrance without tickets and filling the venue to dangerous levels. The emote was likely added to Fortnites store to coincide with the end of the Astroworld Festival, but the rest of the event was cancelled after the incident. The Fortnite fans agreed to remove the emote from the store by Epic Games. However, there is nothing that could be used by players or the Travis Scott skin in the in-game game. Some players have asked for a temporary block to keep them from being used, however Epic Games hasn’t commented on this yet. In other news, Nvidias audio2Face technology makes facial animations by audio files. It does this by neural networking to read a sound document. The system has several languages, but further improvements are likely to come in time, since it is a full release, and isn’t in beta yet.
