The company released a brief video of the game during Thursday’s annual event. Now you can play your favorite mobile games on your PC, according to Google. Tweet According to The Verge, the company plans to bring games to Windows PCs using a new Google Play App to Microsoft’s operating system. The same app can also sync your games session across devices. You can play your games on an Android smartphone then take the opportunity to continue with your switched to a Windows PC. This Google-built product brings the best of the Android game with more laptops and desktops, and we’re excited to expand our platform so players can enjoy their favourite Android games better, said the company’s product director Greg Hartrell. The big question is how Google plans to port the games to the Linux Linux OS. A company spokesperson told PCMag: “Can we share more on implementation in the new year? “But what we’re able to say is this new experience that will enable players to play their favorite Google Play games on their desktop and download a new one. It isn’t going to involve games streaming. Google will distribute the application and the games itself.” Users already use emulators for Windows to run Android games over the OS. Nonetheless, the new Google Play Games app will offer a better experience, especially with the cloud syncing capabilities. Microsoft is adding a new application called Windows Subsystem, which is designed to essentially load Android phones over a virtual machine. Microsoft Windows 11 Insiders are currently able to test the feature.
