A promotional document for Gran Turismo 7 confirms many details about the game, including how many cars it has. Despite a new feature from the October PlayStation Showcase, Kazunori Yamauchi, creator of the Gran Turismo series, described Gran Turismo 7 as a car collectable game, a more than usual car collectible game. It turns out he wasn’t exaggerating, as the competition will be able to run by 420 cars when it starts in 2022. The previous game, Gran Turismo Sport, had 324 cars in total, with just half that coming from postlaunch DLC, thus there is a really large leap in content. The line-up includes 300 o’clock cars from 2011, with many classic cars from the 80s and 90s that have since been discontinued. This is a Japanese page with details posted on Twitter, and then translated by one PettyWingman on the GT Planet forum. The document also says that there will be 90+ racetracks, which surpasses the original 29 tracks of Gran Turismo Sports, and thus its number hung up to 82. The GT mode series, the dynamic time and the dynamic weather effects, will be restored until Gran Turismo 7 has done it. Compared to the sport, but for Gran Turismo 7 looks like a first-class online experience. Although there will be a dedicated campaign mode, almost every feature in the game would need an online connection. Gran Turismo 7 also doesn’t offer a free PlayStation 5 upgrade to anyone who purchases the PlayStation 4 version. With the exception of Horizon Forbidden Dawn, future multi-generation games require you to pony up an extra 7 for PS5 upgrades. The Gran Turismo 7 is going to the PlayStation 4 and the PlayStation 5 on March 4 2022. Tell us on Twitter by email at metro.co.uk.
