When you’re waiting for the final release of End of Dragons, ArenaNet just opened the doors to the player base and introduced a new area to Cantha. The Echovald Wilds, located on a mysterious island, is the largest forest in Cantha, and developed into a vast and dangerous realm, where chaos spread over everything else. This means we have no more than one description. We also dropped the trailer for the new region. You can watch this above and see a visual view of an environment evocatively different from the past and not as wild looking as the maguma Jungle. Despite this brand new area, the Echovald Forest featured prominently in Guild Wars, but when Cantha was blinked, and has a dark history. With its roots in the Tyrian history, the Echovald Wilds should be an welcome return for both old and new players. It’s just the last event of the year. But if you missed the recent specialization beta tests, we had a few thoughts about the Specter, The Untamed and the Mechanist additions ahead of their final release date. Since the release of Guild Wars 2: The end of the dragons, AenaNet will take Guild Wars 2 back to Cantha, the much loved island of the former, and will tell you the tale of Tyria against the giant force of the Elder Dragons. With the release on February 2022, and all of a sudden changing of a specialization and multiplayer mount, to the unique lore of Cantha, the Guild Wars 2, End of Dragons should be a triumphant moment for this highly respected MMORPG.
