In a Reddit post from 343s Brian Jarrard, all four will go live using a service update on Tuesday, Dec. 14. The team said in the past that it would work towards SWAT, Fiesta and FFA before the year started, with Social Slayer later. Jarrard notes that the original plans for Slayer included several new variants that weren’t ready for use before the holiday break. However, in order to give feedback from the player, the team is offering a Basic Slayer offer that should be started and will bolster and expand it in the future. This update forHalo Infinitewill also includes some adaptations of challenges, including removing some frustration-specific challenges and reducing demands for others. New challenges, along with new playlists, will also be coming. Of special interest will be one new category that is based on an accumulation of player marks. As Jarrard describes, this is a step toward performance-based XP. Those eager to have their XP reflect their K/D/A reflect likely to be happy with it. (And if you aren’t, you can always buy some Chipotle?) The update ends with a note that 343s were aware of the last few days of Big Team Battle in Fortuno. They also watch reviews of Ranked and in there too. It’s a good surprise that these playlists land inHalo infinite before the holidays, and with Slayer in tows, too. While I am pretty satisfied with basic matchmaking and Big Team Battle, some extra options in Authenticity will probably help players play more than what they want to play. Halo infinitetook the audience award last week, so it looks like players/some at least those who vote in the game awards are happy with it.
