The latest Raspberry Pi software has big changes, such as a speed increase for the Raspberry Pi 4/ Compute Module 4, and new compositing window manager which speeds up the desktop performance. Raspberry Pi OS Bullseye works with all Raspberry Pi models. However, performance is best achieved by Raspberry Pi 4, Compute Module 4 and Pi 400. These models are more reliable with speed boost than the Pi 400. If they have 2GB of RAM or more, they can also use the new compositing window manager. When installing the latest system, there can be backups for your project and data, and the software will then open the computer, and then install a Raspberry Pi Imager to write onto a microSD card. For example, upgrading an old Raspberry Pi OS to Bullseye would be easy, but not as smoothly as it would be. Taking a plunge make sure you have backups of key files and projects.
