The expert has recently posted an interview to Facebook about the project and its development, stating that the game has been suffering from a development crisis based on limited creative guidance, a problem that was exacerbated when the director of Ubisoft retired more than a year ago. According to Henderson,Beyond Good and Evil 2doesnt fit into the plans and the ambitious Ubisoft plans to develop its future products, and its impact is increasing on live-to-play experiences and self-reliance standards. Henderson claims that even though the development on the game is still progressing, some of its developers believe that it’s only a matter of time for Ubisoft to cancel it. There remains still unknown whether that happens, but reports of games being in trouble often come as a surprise at the moment.Beyond Evil 2isnt the only major upcoming release at Ubisoft that has had a long and protracted development cycle, withSkull and Bones being through the wringer.
