Imane Pokimane Anys, a streaming influencer living in Los Angeles, has launched her own venture dubbed RTS, a talent management and brand consultancy agency that’s officially starting today. The company, Anys, said for nearly eight years I’ve been a content creator. I really felt that there wasn’t any precedent to seek guidance from. To be honest, there is no instruction manual, nor a streamer manual. YouTube video shows how to set up 3D lighting, but you can’t say what to do when you fall in love with your video or teach you how to manage a team of editors to run your YouTube channel in a timely manner. I feel like going through a lot of really frustrating trial and error when it came to building a team of people that could support me, my channels and my business. Fortunately today, that team ensures that I can manage all of my work successfully. And I want to recreate that structure for other creators. Anys, who was born in Morocco but was raised in Canada, has 8.3 million Twitch followers and plays games like Fortnite, Valorant, League of Legends and Among Us. She’s not the only one on YouTube, but has 6,6 million subscribers. RTS has been in the works for about a year and currently employs ten people. When it comes to global affairs, the focus is on a multi-faceted sigma. Stuart Saw, a former CEO of Twitch and Endeavor, is the company’s CEO. CEO is set to be Anys. Imane and I started talking last year on how we can build RTS to reimagine the creator economy and esports in a way that is focused on the sustainability of our industry, Saw said. She loves this business so much that it will attract them and others that want to be an important asset to their founders and brands who really want to make a long-term difference. Sue Lee (previously of Twitch), Kim Phan (formerly of Blizzard and Endeavor) and Jason Scorrano, VP Sales and Partnerships, are all the notable members of the team (formerly with Pax and Turner Sports). Kevin Lin, former CEO of PUBG Corp., Brian Corrigan, and Karen Brodkin, Endeavor EVP of Content Strategy & Partnerships, Endeavor EVP of Content Technology andamp; Partnerships, and the executive director of Twitch. Anys explained that the business name is not related to real-time strategy, but also to what the company wants to achieve for its clients. The company has more plans for an industry akin to trolls, sexism, racism, abuse, and tensioned business and personal relationships. For now were just launching with a focus on gaming, Anys said. It may change in the future. But I think our current goal is to address a lot of issues that we see in the gaming industry. Every creation’s interest is different. They may want to follow directions in non-gaming-related sectors, which we will support with no tarnish mind. For now, it’s our primary goal as a company. We’ve got a good time to make it happen in the future. But not until now, in my opinion, I feel more satisfied with the standard of company that was in the business. Anys has been a vocal advocate of work-life balance and avoiding burnout in an industry known for wreaking havoc on even the most successful producers, who may find themselves tethered to the algorithmic grindstone, churning out content ewigously. We believe in the values of RTS and will focus on the ideas of those we believe that others offer career advice and friendships and easing the burden on these people that often feel obliged to do everything, according to Anys. We would come in and help each other on the front of the creator business, from focusing on your work-life balance to analyzing our finances. What I am pretty sure is that a lot of streamers tend to leave on the back burners, Anys said. (Also) just building out a team of people you can delegate even small, mundane tasks to be, are really, really, really easing the pain on your shoulders and allowing us to do what you can’t do, which is just streaming, creating content, and making other people happy. RTS works with other brands in the esports world, and helps them create that content. The Evolution Championship Series, also known as Evo, is an esports tournament founded by the company’s owners and CEOs. It also collaborates with Epic Games and Facebook to the Fortnite World Cup.
