The merger between OpTic Gaming and Team Envy that created OpTic Texas in November left one franchise open for the Call of Duty Leagues 2022 season. But those discussions reportedly fell through last month, leaving the competitive Call of Duty community wondering if the CDL would only operate with 11 teams in the Vanguard season.
