It seems like Sonics intention isn’t to stop at all for the next year and continue to whiz at full speed. In a recent interview given to Famitsu, Takashi Iizuka announced that a new wave of content will be arriving in 2023, according to the report. The year last year was the largest of all of Sonic history, with the release of the sequel, the release of new titles Sonic Origins and Sonic Frontiers, and the Netflix animated series Sonic Prime. We’re finishing a second wave for the fans to be happy and take a beating until 2023. We already announced additional content for Sonic Frontiers, but there is more to it than that. Please stay tuned. In spite of the co-presence of War and Pokemon, Sonic Frontiers was successful and sold over 2.5 million copies during the launch period. SEGA already specified that title is the starting point of the future of the videogame series.
