Engadget reports that LG revealed the new OLED Evo TV to the Object Collection collection of its “personalized, stylish and functional home appliances.” One notable change was the addition of a motorized cover in beige, redwood and green colorways. The new cover must cover OLED Evo TV’s display when it’s not in use. It can also be set to leave visible a portion of the display so the current time can be displayed. As far as LG’s rollable TV, this concept is similar to that of traditional television. A flexible OLED panel and six-figure price tag are not attainable. This new OLED Evo TV is equipped with a pull-out-like stand that will appear “to make this space even more beautiful” per the translated version of LG’s announcement. How much does this new OLED Evo TV cost? LG says it is going to begin taking orders in South Korea on Dec. 15 for about 8 400 ($ 9,9 million) won. The original model costs two-thirds more than $2,000. Perhaps this will be called the Money Is No Object Collection.
