It’s unclear what the hell this is. Audio player loading. LG walked into gaming laptop market with something that looks really good. That company makes the most expensive electronics. Although LG has made many laptops in the past, it’s the first one being labelled as gaming. Given the specifications, they are certainly not quite as fair as those. Those top pens and computers are the best: those made of the pros. Games: PCs are the best, but not so much of the time. The new gaming laptop from LG is now in line with the manufacturer’s UltraGear lineup of products such as this gaming console, a 32-GP850-B device. What that means is, among other things, a great screen, unless it is on paper anyway. The IPS table 1920×1080 does not contain 300Hz refresh rate, which means you could use the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 Max-Q graphics card and 11th Gen Intel Tiger Lake H CPU inside this slim unit. When the 17 G90Q model unit was 17 inches wide, it is a bit smaller than most games laptops. Despite being only 21.5mm thick, it’s 2.7 kg in weight. This puts it slightly heavier and thicker than one of our favourite gaming laptops this year, the Razer Blade 15 with a very similar CPU, but a bigger screen and a 93Wh battery. The Asus Rog Strix Scar 17 gaming laptop brings the frankest of specifications to the eye. But that also came with a hefty price tag of 3500 or 3000 dollars, and LG hasn’t explained how much this new gaming beast will cost yet, so that could sting some time. There are other specs here that are particularly useful for gamers, such as the DTS:X Ultra support for 3D sound. However, the vapour chamber that LG claims will keep it cool even after working too hard. It can come in up to 32GB of RAM and 1TB of SSD storage. But it is also a nice looking unit with a durable design. There’s even a customisable RGB keyboard, and LG knows who its marketing is now. We should learn more about the new gaming laptops of LG at CES presentation on January 4th.
