After a painfully long moment it became clear the last player, Finn Karrigan Andersen, was there. She was simply kneeling. A moment later, karrigan stood to reveal he was wearing a batman mask to match the batman’s logo on FaZes new jerseys. He slipped into his pyjamas and turned his face on. Estrup breathed a sigh of relief. The intro was still running smoothly and quickly became one of the best moments of the show.

The Dark Knight is up BLAST.

Estrup organizes the BLAST Premier tournament series, which culminates in the yearly BLAST World Final. The tournament is going to start soon, from Wednesday to Sunday, December 19. There aren’t any live-streams so much that COVID-19 counts are still on the rise in Europe; however Estrup hopes his team will deliver a satisfying studio event for the pros and the fans alike and support the organizers’ success at the BLAST Fall Final. The fall final marked the return of an in-arena event with a live audience followed by the PGL Stockholm Major 2021, the first arena event since the COVID-19 pandemic. As a product manager, Estrup was responsible for turning the tournament into an event. The Karrigans entrance was the highlight of the Fall Final. When a Dane stood in front of a Danish crowd, karrigan took the role of an entertainer and was able to play his Batman character for the audience. Using the team’s extensive and active effort, BLASTs created a rapid update and improved the screen view, giving the players an update of the karrigans’ normal player profile picture a re-created Batman personality. Bat-karrigan left on the mini-map in a very unbatman fashion, doling out torture with assault rifles to the terrorists and Counter-Terrorists. When you have the basics in place, said Estrup of the teams quick adaptation, you are able to play with it. Bat-karrigan, who highlighted in the bottom-left corner and on his team roster on the northern side of the map, was a last-minute adjustment to bring some spice into the broadcast and get into a fun moment. | Provided by BLAST via Twitch and to be caught up in a Twitch. This cherry-on-top moment complemented the basic level of event production that Estrup and his team tried to perfect from clear audio to smooth stream transitions and everything else in between. The Fall Final was a mammoth of planning and logistic for the Estrups team, ultimately becoming a leader when Natus Vincere came to the top of the victors’ trophy – and hoisted the trophy.

The strange and the beautiful are both interesting and lovely.

I had a three-year anniversary from Dec. 1 and decided to end it with BLAST. He has been at school a lot longer. I have no grade, a mother said. I’ve just been in the sport since the beginning. I belong to some group of friends in Denmark, like [Danny zonic Srensen], former coach of Astralis. Estrup said he knew he was just not as good at games as his peers. He knew that his intention was to stay in esports and to work out a career out of a man like that. He has worked on everything from corporate to commercial. He learned to film, shoot, edit and produce. And at the end of the day, he found himself a bit excited for esports. The event was an unfortunate moment at the Fall Final when one team was pondering the limits of the hydraulic lifts, as well as the unexpected, despite a sense of enthusiasm. Estrup gave it a try to tell them why, but they wouldn’t tell him until he was close to their match. It is because you have that elephant, Estrup said, and we want to try to see whether we can bring a live elephant up to the stage. And I was like, What? Have you got serious now? Not sure if they were joking or not, Estrup very sensibly refused to let them bring a baby elephant into an arena full of fans. Because there was a big question, was there a baby elephant actually? There’s a question that’s not all that big. The AZA clan are hacked onto the BLAST Fall Final stage. | Photo by BLAST/Michal Konkol.

The curtain is blown in the Fall through the shadow of the trees behind.

BLAST team had more than two years to contemplate their return to the in-arena event. Then came the Major’s hand. Since the final of the BLAST Fall finale, nothing Estrup and his team did that was an action of PGLs. There was simply no time to change the plan, even if something they saw at the grand scale made them want to change things themselves. I think they were a very good show. But we felt very comfortable with what we did, said Estrup. It is almost like playing poker. They sit and throw the card on the table and then your memory is improved. Most tournament organizers are aware of what others are doing in the space of going to other events and keeping an eye on things, but they aren’t necessarily pitting themselves against each other. That vision of BLAST is more ambitious, for the best of all kinds of traditional entertainment, such as sports and concerts, is known as the gold standard for esports events. I have a feeling this is a music festival, where you can see an esports concert and a sports broadcast, Estrup said. We thrown that whole soup into a big soup. It sounds very weird to us. This vision formed a huge contrast with the impression that men dominated the BLAST Fall Final crowd, so families with young children were attending; a large percentage of young children gathered for the sport. Some of the credit goes to BLAST, which amounted in part to the success of the events and what the organization did to build the Astralis brand into a household name. A significant majority of the crowd were opposed to Counter-Strikes, but astralis. This showed how much it did as Astralis walked out of the fall match. With the Fall Final, the CS:GO fans reminded themselves of some of the potential pitfalls of in-arena events. If you have a very strong fan group, it’s when you need to mute up and be aware, Estrup said. We stopped crying and then turned off the screen. In the past, BLAST turned the X-rays on the HUD off the indicating point where other teams players are. A second solution for these endemic cheating problems that occur with large crowds is soundproof booths, which Estrup wants to essentially avoid. Fundamentally, were struggling to put players in the box because so much of the arena experience comes from teams feeding off fans and fans feeding off teams, Estrup said. We’re a lot more keen on finding out the best audio setup we can do to make sure we can minimize all the problems that we need to avoid. To help create an effective and fun lifestyle, Estrup said he felt strongly that the relationships between the fans and the players must be preserved. In the Fall Final, the stages design allowed for interconnection between the two groups.

Tournament organizers: The good, the bad, and the ugly.

David prius Kuntz, one of the most experienced observers in CS:GO and with whom he worked almost all BLAST events, has long been well-suited to tournament organizers, and the one caveat is they rarely do enough to take care of their observers. Anything I like in-game, they support it very much, prius said. All the staff and contractors that work at the BLAST events are also very fun to work around and I genuinely like being there. Being a former spacecraft veteran, prius has been taking an inventory of the objects for several years. He worked with many different tournament organizers, including Riot Games, ESL and, of course, BLAST. But as an example of BeyondTheSummit, he’s a huge fan. Using that setup by prius to watch the National Championship by Fall Final. | Provided by prius, the BLAST Premier is now final. If BLASTs specialty is a live event and in-arena experience, then BTSs specialty is the homey feeling of having back-stage access to the pros. Their Los Angeles productions are perfectly positioned by the close-quarters environment and a close feeling of the neighbourhood in which they are built. The atmosphere in a studio/house was wonderful with players, talent and staff. A part of that was the fun of knowing the players personalities live on the couch with the other talent, prius said. And don’t make me start with their catering as good as it sounds. The majority of tournament organizers have a well-established reputation in their respective tournaments. In some cases, star treks are actually able to figure out their own niche. WePlay Esports is located in Kiev, Ukraine, that is still in its early stages. The second season of the Academy League drew great praise and reflected many famous young talent in the CS:GO scene. ESL is the one thing that consists of the organizers of the CS:GO tournament. There are major sports outlets in the league, such as IEM Katowice and IEM Cologne. And finally there are BLAST, who fill the gap between the ESL and the Valve-sponsored major. Outside of the Fall Final, BLAST, largely obstructed by COVID-19 restrictions, couldn’t give the arena experience that Estrup said was the major organizer. He hopes to return to stronger arena events in 2022, like many other CS:GO fans. One thing is certain: Estrup will continue pushing for BLAST and esports experience. Yes, I’m a long-time esports player, but I don’t have anything to challenge the heritage of that, said Estrup. That’s a problem im allergic to hearing. That is what we’ve always done. Good, very good. Then we definitely have to try to see what happened in a hand grenade.
