As reported by IGN, the new series will be written by Jason Aaron of the Avengers and The Mighty Thor, with art from Jesus Saiz of Star Wars and Paul Azaceta of Outcast, and colour by Dave Stewart. The story will be a rich tale of the Punisher’s past as well as the actual day where he was the guru of The Hand. ARIS: The MCU is absolutely insidious. Azaceta will provide the art for the flashbacks, and Saiz will handle the modern stuff. Aaron already worked on Punisher comics from 2010 to 2012, and as part of the PunisherMAX program, became a regular contributor. However, this new issue will not appear in the current Marvel Universe. The story of Jason tells an epic story about darkness, violence, and choices can only be told if you use the Punisher at its root”, said the editor in charge of Marvel’s C.B. Cebulski. “On account of Frank’s legacy, this series will inspire us to side of him we have never seen before, thereby leaving the ground for an evolution that wasn’t without precedent.” This story is the next step in dark and tragic frightening evolution of Frank Castle, from troubled child to heroic soldier, frightened vigilanteto the anointed King of Killers,” said Aaron. The ones who don’t follow the remark about the realism – the people of the franchise that know only if their action action antihero will repris his role in the MCU. Charlie Cox is going to return as the blind ninja, while Deborah Ann Woll and Elden Hanson will return as Karen Page and Foggy Nelson respectively. Kingpin was spotted in Hawkeye, especially Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin. Hopefully, a fan of Bernthal’s Frank Castle, will be pleased if he return to the MCU soon.
