Microsoft Is Launching Onedrive In Windows 7 And 8

OneDrive won’t become completely useless for those on older operating systems, the files themselves aren’t going anywhere, and the OneDrivesystem (and updated, synced contents) can still be accessed via Microsoft accounts on the internet. OneDrive apps for iOS and Android aren’t affected. Since this is a slightly arbitrary end of service, Microsoft might be making a difference in Googles Drive and Dropbox, among other cloud storage competitors. Windows 7 and 8.1 have been missing full support a long time, but it’s not going to stop being able to take a risk of relying on security update until January 2023. Despite its resources, and the reason for branding, Microsoft would love those who are still still on older versions of the operating system to have access to the time.
