(Image: GTATrilogyMods) One of the many messed-up things that players have noticed about the Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy Definitive Edition is the rain. The thinly luminous white lines can not be easily visible on the other side, so it falls into thick white lines without being a clear one in the water. It’s as if it’s raining along the ocean. Even if it weren’t for that, the strands that’re stranded in the rain don’t make the atmosphere look good like the previous one. In the meantime, a modder is working on improving the rain. GTATrilogyMods has a fix on Patreon, with version 1.1 ready to download, though you should be able to access version 1.2 sooner. As per GTA’s review, iNSANE666 uses “green”, in general on the GTA Forums, and dredged, depleted, and menu-screens and will be available when the first phase of the review ends with an announcement that goes live at Nexus Mods. In the meantime, you can download the lot into an open source file. And on Portuguese site mixmods, Jessica Natalia uploaded a mod to make rain more transparent in all three games. As the subject is not really clear, the trilogy’s modding scene is already too naive to work on projects multiple times. There’s a full radio restoration that uses to give the deleted songs back, which now gets even in Vice City’s Flash FM, the new look to eliminate the black outlines among targeted pedestrians, and one that fixes Grove Street gang members with a’syncratic’ outline when they’re wearing the number 3, 5, or 9 when they are wearing number 3. As I’m writing this, the GTA Trilogy has just become available after being offline for two days. Who knows what modders can do now the game’s real playable again?
