There will be no qualifiers between splits. The teams who qualify for splits are for the second. As confirmed earlier this month, the 12-team NA VALORANT Challengers League will be created up to six qualifier teams plus six direct invited teams. The two teams will face off in two splits. One runs from the beginning of February until mid-March, and another from mid-April till mid-Mai. We’ll announce the immediate invitation soon. Image via Knights Arena and Riot Games. The 12 teams will divide up into two groups of 6, and each team will play the other teams on a weekly round-robin stage. The second split will be shortlisted based on the points earned in split one and the newly announced Mid-Season Invitational. The second split will also reward more points than the first split. The top eight teams from split one will advance to the Mid-Season Invitational at the end of March and each will be able to earn more points for the Challengers between splits. The top eight teams will earn points at the end of both sets of splits and the Mid-Season Invitational will advance to the playoffs that begin on May 31. The ultimate goal for all of the competitions is ascension, and the teams from the NA VALORANT Championship will win an American Ascension tournament, with a two-year spot in the top-tier international VCT league on the line.
