1 Legend Status well earned esteem. Two Champions Championships Winners.

If you were keen on the early PGL Stockholm betting market, then you would know that Natus Vincere was one of the strong favourites who won the title. The team proved to be the winner on a winning pitch for many betting sites and esports fans, with a masterclass of CS:GO gaming and claiming their first prize at the tournament. And despite that bumper cash prize, NAVI has also picked up several important awards including 1800 CSGO Pro Tour points, 4000 BLAST Premier points and a place in the BLAST Premier World Final 2021. Their team joined The Gambit, G2 Esports and Heroic as a winner of the 8 spots available at the $1 million esports tournament which happens between the 14th and 19th December. Even though they’ve consistently been impressed at the PGL major in the last couple of weeks, they’ll likely beat that team that their next event is likely to take place.

Legend Status Very Good Deficient!

NAVI, the sole authority of the pGL major, wasn’t involved in the first challengers stage, with various big names, like FaZe Clan, Virtus.pro, Heroic and Astralis, to qualify for the second phase of the tournament. The new Legends Stage saw NAVI and seven other legends enter the tournament. Two teams, Team Liquid and Evil Geniuses lost their Legends status following the elimination of the earlier division from the tournament, the remaining six Legends teams plus Virtus.pro and Heroic stepped on to the Champions Stage. After completing the qualifying, Natus Vincere went to the top of the group with a win over Ninjas in Pyjamas, beating Heroic 16-11 in their Round 1 match, and obliterating Virtus.pro 16-4 in their second place.

Champions’ Stage winners.

Having achieved the Champions Stage without dropping a map, Natus Vincere continued their excellent run through the tournament he and her richly formed a strong foundation. In the quarterfinals, team Vitality took a stubborn fight, but once again NAVI came through, winning 16-11 and 16-3 for a 2-0 win. They moved into the semifinals where they completely dominated Gambit Esports, winning 16-8, 16-3 for a comfortable 2-0 victory. After they reached the final, they’re facing G2 Esports who beat Ninjas in Pyjamas and Heroic en route to the last two. After the first test, G2 passed the best test of its kind for NAVI, and had the first two maps with 11 on their own, before the second set with 22 on its own, in overtime. The victory is the fourth big tournament that NAVI have won in 2021, followed by their successes at the World Championship, 2013 in January, the World Final in July, the International Extreme Masters XVI Köln, September and the ESL Pro League Season 14. The team has already earned 2195,000 from these four wins this season. They are the first team to win a CSGO major tournament without dropping a map. NAVI will be back in action at the BLAST Premier Fall Finals in Copenhagen on the 24th November.
