The EA-published game was developed by DICE as part of the Criterion Games. But the development was very successful, not only because it was limited to single-player and multiplayer. To mark a visual and graphical achievement, he praises the development of visual styles. But it was 2015! Associated: Interview: BioWare Tells 10 Years Of Star Wars Stories In Old Republic. Six years later, a game like Battlefront might look like the age of the consoles capable of 4K and even ray-tracing, and with PCs capable of monster graphics cards. I wonder whether the modder will help me. A seasoned massihancer is developing a graphics mod for Star Wars: Battlefront, which adds ray tracing, global illumination and a lot of other improvements, and all in 4K and even 8K resolution. Massihancer has uploaded a YouTube video showing his work, and it looks very spectacular, with rock and ground surfaces displaying the highest detail, while the lighting and colours moved to a more cinematic look. In an email sent to TheGamer, Massihancer said he dedicated much of his time to the mod. It is certainly a huge effort, the modder created a dedicated tonemap, a dynamic depth-of-field shader and added filmic colour grading. The imagerealistic images with photoresonation effect, reflections and the abominable global illumination, also seem to differ. You can view his YouTube video in 4K resolution below, so you can see his work in an extremely detailed format. The video makes the game more interesting, particularly since it looks impressive in the video, using stunning lighting and filmic colours, which gives the viewer the opportunity to play a Star Wars movie. The original game, at first, gave that impression, of course, to the many Star Wars fans who played it, but this new model certainly ramps up the atmosphere. The Star Wars Battlefront Ray Tracing Mod is a work-in-progress, so that it will be described under Massihancer’s YouTube upload, but those interested might want to check out the video to see when the mod will now be available for PC versions.
