As of 30th September 2021, 32 million people are Switch Online subscribers, up from 26,000 last year. That count will certainly have risen higher in the past month with the launch of the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack – which will also bring in a higher price per user. Even the launch of the Expansion Pack tier hasn’t been as smooth as possible, as users pointed out issues related to the performance and control of different games. In its latest executive briefing, Nintendo said it would continue to improve and expand both the Switch Online and the Switch Online plus Expanded Pack, thereby supplying customers with service that satisfy customers. There are some interesting things here. First, we can see how close we are to Nintendo to acknowledge the issues associated with some N64 games in the Expansion Pack. Second, this seems to suggest further improvements for the initial tier, too. Or maybe some further NES/SNES games? Last week, a data mine that was made up of the new N64 Nintendo Switch Online app called, revealed a list of at least 38 games planned, including some obvious upcoming candidates. There was also another indication that at least one other platform was added in the future.
