Overwatch fans went to social media to discussand discuss the importance of “to the Overwatch universe” in the debate. The last time that a new hero was introduced in the game was last April. From that point on, there have been several different modes that allow games to play a new map. I think they should release Sojourn, since her ability kit has already been shown, and she’s clearly playable, said one Overwatch fan. It would be good damage control for the derailed O2 hype train. Those who follow the franchise strongly think Sojourn will breathe life and give a fresh lore to a game that may have gone barren. If the characters clamor for Sojourns as a addition to Overwatch, they are also looking for an exciting kit in the BlizzConline, recently launched. Sojourn, according to one study, is going to play an integral role in Overwatch 2’s backstory. Blizzard has already announced that they will not bring any new heroes to the original Overwatch title, and that any work done for the game will be mostly bug fixes and balancing. In addition to Sojourns capabilities, sandboxes are already in the sandbox that surrounds the Next Overwatch 2. With that being said, it is not to be easy to tweak the Sojourns movement abilities to keep her character model up to the point that she can achieve a strong character model and be an excellent actor. Clearly, the Overwatch community are taking care of everything that could keep the original Overwatch game running intrinsically. Getting into a new character will certainly do this, but with all the internal controversy currently occurring within Blizzard, this is not likely to be their priority.
