According to The Hollywood Reporter, No Way Home grossed $23 million in the 4,000 theaters it played on the weekend. That gave the third-largest ever-grandited movie in the United States, just behind their third-largest debut as the Marvel movies Avengers: Endgame had a $357 million debut and Avengers: Infinity War with $257 million. While hype and marketing remained hot in the weeks leading up to its launch, despite any doubt about theatrical release at the time of a pandemic....

The studio opened its doors in 2011 after mobile games began on Android and iOS. That was a series of hit titles such as the Lara Craft and Hitman Go series. The studio switched into free-to-play games and over the years, it has quadrupled its team. I spoke with Patrick Naud, who started the studio. We talked about the changes in games and some of the best work of the studios....

New Releases Arcade Archives Orius ($7,99) When I saw that name, my friends, I gave up. I was sure I saw that Konamis 1991 horizontal shoot-em-up Xexexex should be release in March of Arcade Archives. Well, Orius isn’t a North American name for that game. I knew nothing about this. No matter what the situation is, it’s a nice blend of Gradius, Life Force, R-Type and X-Multiply. I’m likely not going to convince you whether or not you need a new classic Konami shooter, but I will note that this game has only had one home release before this, and that was the only Japanese-only Salamander Portable collection, and that’s for the PlayStation Portable....

As players continue to criticize the newly released GTA Trilogy remastered collection, the parent company Take-Two Interactive decided that this is the perfect time to use DMCA takedown notices to remove some more GTA mods and fan projects. According to the folks at LibertyCity on the GTA website on November 11, Take-Two called them and used DMCA strikes to remove three different GTA-related modifications. The three removed mods are listed in the corresponding file....

Microsoft has always made it clear since then that Bethesda acquisition was used first to make exclusive content for Xbox Game Pass that can attract more people to the service. In a recent interview with GQ, a manager of Xbox 360 Phil Spencer said more about that. While reacted with the Elder Scrolls 6and its exclusivity in terms of Xbox and PC, Spencer said that the decision wasn’t about punishing other platforms, but rather more inwardly-focused on strengthening Xbox itself....

The game is believable, to be good enough. We are the captain of the sandstone and our riftbreaker. Riftbreakers are an elite scientist/commando (an odd mix of id-like, the white coat would be ruined with alien guts). They roam around the large Mecha Suits. Those riftbreakers are sent off to explore strange new worlds, together with a mission to build base on which to see that humanity grows. That will eventually ruin a whole new world....

This is the result of a total loot, a lack of cooldowns and randomized dungeons. The release date for Torchlight: infinite isn’t confirmed yet but it will have a close beta shortly....

Credit: Ubisoft In Maelstrom Protocol, an entertaining weekly challenge involving tiered ranks designed by the best Rainbow Six players. Players must navigate nine subzones; gaining difficulty, tougher enemies, reducing money, and when time goes a long way, the times are shorter. At each checkpoint, squads either extract their points or try to force the end. At the time of earning points, challengers will be able to take place in up to 4 classes, from Bronze to Silver to Gold, Platinum to Diamond, each earning players with special credit and REACT Credits....
