What worked in thisPokemon GO event?

That is what it is: If you missed any community events this year, this is a great catch-up event. If not, this is still a good recap. The next phase of this episode is quite a little worried about whether or not the events are well-deserved. If you are in this game, you will probably know what’s coming.

What didn’t work in thisPokemon GOevent.

Timing: Hey, Niantic. What could you possibly do? Between this mess ofHarry Potter: Wizards Unite’s December 2021 schedule and that, I’m uneasy. During one of the most anticipated events of the year, the Holiday Party, Niantic plops that. This is all wrong. While I understand it may be difficult planning a month of events and avoiding overlap, this was something that didn’t just have to happen. If you look at the rest of December 2021, it could easily be swapped out with Swinub Incense Day. Nothing was happening but Swinub Incense Day during the first week of the month, and that eventalready featured Pokemon crossing over with the Holiday event. Moving the one-day event to this weekend and putting December Community Day at the top of the month would have made a lot of sense in the world. This weekend, instead, completely interrupted a great event by putting Pokemon that 99% of players don’t need in the wild in droves. It’s frustrating to see Niantic schedule such an awesome month of events in it, only to interrupt it with the lowest offer in December.

Overall

This event was easy, given that it’s a slam dunk, it was the same thing every year. It would’ve looked exactly like previous years if it hadn’t interrupted an excellent holiday event inPokemon. As such, I’m glad it’s over and I have to try again to grind something more fresh and fun.
