This is the second post-credit Mythical Pokemon announced for Pokemon Legends: Arceus. Players with e-data for the Pokemon Sword and Shield will receive a similar mission that leads to a re-evaluation of Shaymin’s land forms. Pokemon Legends: Arceusis a new cult game set in the past. The game is now in the Hisui region. The region will eventually become known as the Sinnoh region. Players will be able to collect information for the region’s first ever Pokedex while investigating a mysterious phenomenon that caused some Pokemon to get berserk. Notably, the game uses new battle and catch mechanics. The game lacks a battle-screen distinct. Instead, players deploy their Pokemon on the “overworld” map to fight wild Pokemon. Catch Pokemon is a sneaky method of getting them to the top of an enormous grass. While the games were previously set, there were ties to present-day games. The Pokemon Company has released several new NPCs with ties to now-day characters from Sinnoh. Two indigenous groups were revealed the Diamond Clan and Pearl Clan, which seemingly have ties to Legendary Pokemon Palkia and Dialga as well as Ginkgo Guild Merchants. Both new merchants Volo and Ginter seem to be ancestors of Cynthia and Volkner respectively. Team Galactic also is the Galaxy Expedition Team. Pokemon Legends: Arceus will be released on January 28, 2022.
