Last month’s Pokemon TCG Value Watch encouraged collectors to act onSword & Shield Darkness Ablaze, due to doubts that card prices could have gone up. As far as I have seen, a number of other people have recently noticed the sharp drop in prices due to the fact that Darkness Ablaze is getting a copy. The market does not matter anymore, because collectors are getting low prices and buying cards, which decreases the number of cards in the market and shows the sellers that there is a good interest, and then increases the price again. Right now, the crossover is huge. It has risen almost 10 USD since November 2021, a thing that makes sense for me. For a Caffire, although it is used to a VMAX, the $466 apiece feels lower. Even though the other cards have only risen a few dollars, I feel like acting on this set now. Compared to any otherSword & Shield-era set, it still’s a relatively affordable set to buy singles from.
