The first season, after the successful Riot Games, would like to expand the tournament circuit for VCT 2022, adding numerous new entries, plus features.
EMEA VCT 2022
The four EMEA teams who qualified for the Valorant Champions 2021 will automatically qualify for the Challengers event in Stage 1. There will be three open and closed qualifiers in the year 10 to 23 of January. Ten qualifying berths will be available. Teams from Europe won the tournament for four points, and teams from the Commonwealth of Independent States and Turkey won the competition for two spots. The MINA region players will take on their preferred qualifying event.

The winners of the Eight Valorant Regional Leagues (VRL), along with the bottom two teams from the Stage 1 Challengers, will compete in a Promotion tournament deciding whether to win VCT in Stage 2. The top two teams from each of the 10 will advance to the Stage 2 Challengers event. Teams who do not qualify for the tournament will compete in the VOL. VCT 2022, comparable to the season 2021, will have improved broadcasting. The events VCT, Game Changers, Masters and Champions will take place. These contests come in English, Arabic, French, German, Spanish, Polish, Russian, and Turkish, with more languages coming soon.
