DICE could drop Season 1 of BF2042 sometime in January 2022 if they wish. Or, the studio can drop maps, modes, or weapon outside a season, if anything is possible. Keep in mind that before spreading news that Battlefield 2042 won’t feature new content until March 2020 as gospel (since we don’t know it for certain).
