The Rumble Kong League is a game that will go to three-tiered teams. Players can compete in leagues and tournaments, as well as buy footwear, woreables, banners and stadiums. They could even buy real-life players modeled on the real man. Rumble League designed the game with NFTs in mind, and the first thing that will be dropped are Rumble Kongs. These are 10,000 NFTs, each unique, that can be used as playable avatars in-game. The Kongs will provide games, too. Marcus Blasche, manager of Rumble Kong League said in a statement:’Our goal is to provide sports fans with a unique and memorable experience inside the Rumble Kong League. The NFT and the Metaverse have huge impact on the gaming world. We want to build the go-to sports ecosystem and push the boundaries of the web3 space. The round was led by JDS Crypto. Among others, the following was CAA Sports, Framework Ventures, Animoca Brands, SkyVision Capital, Ideo CoLab, and Victory Creative Group. CAA Sports is also serving as a strategic advisor for Rumble Leagues. In a statement, Mr. Robert Casey said that the next step of the NFT journey is all about utilities and the access to the community. Rumble Kong League builds that into everything they’re working on, from a club to a gameplay-to-real-life and digital merch drops. We’re excited to join this journey and help reinforce RKL’s vision. Rumble League will raise the funds for the games launch. Rumble Kong League is due to be released in 2022.
