Alfredo Bermejo, director of Digital Strategy at LaLiga, comments: The eLaLiga Fan Cup was the first project to take advantage of the national level’s excellent work beyond our borders. Even though we were to change the project due to the pandemic, we could complete all the tournaments in all the countries we wish to join, and start a new international strategy. Two very ambitious projects are being implemented on this year’s level: the Best & the Challenge in China and the USA. The new tournament is the first one which is organized as part of a three-year deal with LaLiga and Galaxy Racer, signed in August of 2021. According to a release, the partnership seeks to create new original series and to produce exclusive content featuring LaLigas players. : Game Racer Pakistan is launching the Gamers Galaxy event. John Bowler, former CEO of Galaxy Racer, added: “This unique opportunity is to celebrate amateurs’ talent in partnership with the eLaLiga Santander team. Through these tournaments, we can create the experiences we like to play in our global community. We’re looking forward to seeing these amateurs blow us apart in their talents! The first tournament jointly organised by LaLiga and Galaxy Racer is an ambitious effort, composed of 13 countries, and possibly thousands of players. This makes the relationship between the two parties something that is worthwhile in the future. Follow the ESI on Instagram.
