Two new graphics about the motherboard seem to be beautiful. MSI posted the pictures after the announcement that the MEG Z690 Godlike deserved the award for CES 2022 Innovation. Like its predecessor, the MEG Z690 Godlike features an LCD in which the DMDR5 POS are mounted. It’s not even bigger than the usual DDR5 GB memory. As you can see from the image, the touchscreen displays what processor is installed (in this case, a Core i9-12900K) and what clock speeds are available. The MSI Dragon Center app allows for more customization of the LCD. According to WCCFtech, the MEG Z690 Godlike measures 305x310mm – and works well with six M.2 slots. This is a new high-watermark to an avid motherboard and conforms to the current nature of the Godlike family. 1 of 2:40. 2 images of 2 and 3 respectively. The MEG Z690 has a multi-phase power design, dual LAN ports (10 GbE, 2,5 GbE), four USB 3.2 Gen 2, 2 (Type-A) and two USB 3. Generation 2 (Type-C) ports. We should also mention that the MEG Z690 Godlike will also be in the box with the Gen 5 PCI-Express Card. The download allows you to add support for PCIe 5.0 SSDs yet renamed. This card is powered by the full-size Gen 5 slot on the motherboard. We are eager to test the MEG Z690, Godlike, with Intels current crop of Alder Lake processors. If you haven’t already done that, check out our review of the Core i9-12900K and Core i5-12600K. The AMD Zen 3-based Ryzen 5000 is now priced at 589 and 289 respectively. Both processors are gaming beasts which match more than their predecessors’. Nonetheless, the relative attractive price points of current-available Alder Lake processors must be tempered by the higher prices for DDR5 modules compared to DDR4. And the MEG Z690 godlike is likely to cost a little money when released, compared to its predecessor, which currently costs 899,99 dollars.
