The Showors: Slitterhead is a tribute to the Bokeh Game Studio, this new trailer will be presented at the Game Awards.

This interview comes from IGN Japan and involves Toyama speaking about some early gameplay details for Slitterhead which was unveiled first at The Game Awards. When the game is finished, he said that and said that. I can’t talk to many of them yet, but I can tell you that this game will be a live-based adventure game. However, the game will include many new mechanics that haven’t been seen for decades, so I think that this will be a unique experience. The game will get you fighting mysterious creatures that mimic humans, but how can you smoke them to make them reveal themselves? It will be a major pillar of adventure and story. These creatures belong to Yakushi, a type of monster that has its roots in classical theater. The beginning of the movie, Slitterhead is quite different, but still still has the odd imagery of his Silent Hill series. The creatures, for one, seem quite insect-like this time around, so we tried to compare Parasyte, a popular science fiction story series. In any case it will be exciting to see how these new monstrosities come out, so prospective fans may wait a little longer; in the same interview, Toyama says this – in the same interview, he says: “I think so. We are now preparing to complete the test of the proton’s core concept, and then we’ll increase the size of the team and start producing full scale production. Now, commit yourselves to production till at least 2022, but we keep up with our fans as development progresses. Slitterhead is coming at a still-unannounced date for yet-to-be-announced platforms.
