I don’t think that anything will happen in an interview, says Sakurai in an interview. But, I can’t say that this is certainly the last Smash Bros. Just last month, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate received its final DLC character through Sora from Kingdom Hearts games. Sora waited the games final add-on fighter, and his addition to Super Smash Bros shook fans over whether it was a good choice or not. Nonetheless, many players agreed that the big-styling hero was added to the combatants’ roster. After the official launch of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, there’s a lot of discussion to talk about. Nevertheless, if there was another Smash Bros. project, Sakurai believes that it won’t be the same without him. Without me, I can’t produce Smash Bros. Truthfully, I would like to leave that to somebody else; but I have actually tried that, but it hasn’t worked out. It remains clear why Sakurai wants to give the franchise to someone else, but it was reported that he wants to be in the shadows for a bit and that he can’t say on what he would work on next. While the series is so large since its launch, Sakurai is worried about disappointing the users, as long as the studio decides to continue with the series.
