Most gamers love Spider-Man games because of their love and appreciation for everything related to the web-head. It is shown through the numerous outfits, easter eggs and the references to everything in the Spider-Verse (no, not that one), and even in some of the moves and poses that Peter Parker might perform. Relative: Marvel should develop a connected gaming universe. Fans have noticed several loading screen poses that called back to The Amazing Spider-Man, Raimi’s Spider-Man Trilogy, and even to the actual Spider-Man of the MCU. There is also sense that respect could be used both at once, as Tom Holland’s Spider-Man was reportedly moving out of No Way home. Since the report is published by ComicBook.com, Holland was recently interviewed by Extraordinerd to promote No Way Home. In the interview, Extraordinerd asks Holland if he’s familiar with Insomniac’s Spider-Man version, to which he says he is revealing a move from the games, to a variant of that film. Holland said he’s playing a videogame and he loved it. Sony was extremely generous, they sent us a PS5 while we were shooting, and I would play it at home. I’ve liked it; I think the game is amazing. I think it’s so fun, and that’s just the way you can go. When asked whether No Way Home took inspiration from Insomniac’s games, Holland said, “I don’t think that was really. However, he does really a move Spider-Man does in that game that we took and that’s how the game goes. You can’t know that, if the move is what Peter Parker performs in combat or if it’s one that he’ll do when it’s playing the game, but as the Spider-Verse grows bigger, the movies and the games will play in small ways for fans to appreciate.
