This generation is most probably an annoying part of the new generation of consoles, despite the good games we receive in the new generation.

Sony, Square Enix, 2K Games and Activision Blizzard were among the companies that began to price their new titles just as the price rose as 70 instead of $60. Now, it looks like the same policy will be followed for PC, as well. Square Enix was leading the price change in the PC games.

Soon after the Game Awards 2021 ended and the PC version of Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade got official release dates, it was revealed on Steam and Epic Games Store that the two games will be available for 70 dollars on the PC. With Forspoken still developing, it’s not as if the system is still able to do the 90th-generation consoles. But considering the price difference between Final Fantasy VII and PC, that is terrible for the publisher.

Final Fantasy VII Remake was originally developed for PS4 and was launched back in 2020 as a six-seater-long game. For the first time in over a year, PC players have to pay 70 dollars to play this game with Epic Games. Square Enix, for sure, made a disappointed decision. Although it also comes with Intergrade, it’s not worth 70 dollars. Just as an example, Sony launched Days Gone for $49.99 and is going to do that for the upcoming version of God of War. The other publishers will unfortunately follow the same rules in the PC, before or after, so we should probably be ready for the 70 dollar Call of Duty on PC in the near future.
