GSC partnered with DMarket, the platform for metaverse and NFT trading, to develop the technology, which it claims is an first for AAA. According to GSC, players can register for item drops, and within the drop series, the first metahuman will be released worldwide and exposed to hundreds of millions of gamers. The metahuman will appear in Stalker 2 and have the face of its human owner three metahumans will be selected in total. The first item is in February, the second comes in February. GSC adds that all drops won’t affect the actual gameplay of Stalker 2, nor will it give the player an advantage over another.
