A job advertisement for the role of multiplayer game designer on the Supermassives website (see below) mentions the company is currently working on a new, yet unapplied project. That job advertisement states that the game has a wide range of multiplayer systems, and also that combat and progression are regarded as important. While Dark Picturestitles, of course, feature multiplayer (and so emphasised it, one might argue), combat and progression systems haven’t really been focused on much of the trilogy. In fact, job ads spotted around one year ago suggested that a developer was experimenting with game and was focusing on varied and compelling real-time combat. That remains to be seen for what the project may be. Supermassive recently sold some 30 percent of its stake to Nordisk, while last year it was also announced that it had partnered with Stadia for an exclusive project however, although it is unclear if that deal is still in place. Now the Dark Movies: The Devil in Me will be a season finale for the anthology series. Read more about this here.
